I am looking for a position in the container fleet as a junior officer or to start in the position of third mate. I have 7 months of experience as a deck cadet and 18 months as an ordinary seaman on a reefer/container vessel. During this time, I conducted navigational watches under the supervision of the Officer of the Watch (OOW). I am experienced in correcting navigational publications and charts, and I have demonstrated proficiency in COLREG and IALA regulations. Additionally, I have extensive experience as a helmsman and have acted as a lookout during pilotage in heavy traffic, restricted visibility, and while at anchor. I have also assisted in the maintenance of Life-Saving Appliances (LSA) and Fire-Fighting Equipment (FFE). Furthermore, I have actively participated in cargo handling and container operations, including cargo securing and container checks. I have worked in a mixed crew with individuals of different nationalities, including Filipinos, Vietnamese, Indonesians, Sri Lankans, Ukrainians, Russians, Latvians, and Lithuanians. My trading area has covered the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Oceans, Baltic Sea, North Sea, Caribbean Sea, and the Panama Canal.
